WARRANTIES

Each MINIMIS product carries a five (5) year limited repair-or-replace warranty, subject to the following conditions. Warranty replacement process is subject to the existing lead-times of said product, but shall take precedence over net-new orders (subject to limitations).

TERMS OF USE, AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

MINIMIS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO INVALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY, if any of the LP line of products:

– are operated on 12-volt AC

– are operated on 12-volt AC to 12-volt DC conversion

– are operated on a direct connection to mains voltage source without 12-volt DC constant voltage transformer

– are operated on a constant-current LED driver of any voltage

– are operated on any DC constant-voltage power source other than 12-volt DC constant voltage

– are operated on any dimmer 

– are wired in series (serial), or wired in any manner other than parallel

– are operated on a power grid that is subject to brown-outs that have tendency to damage any electric or electronic items

– are operated in IP 68 conditions (submersible, pools, fountains). LP products are to be operated in conditions up to and including IP 67 conditions.

– have their housing breached, opened, or disfigured in any way

– have their pigtail cut within four (or less) inches from the base of the luminaire  

MINIMIS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO INVALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY, if any of the MP line of products:

– are operated on 12-volt AC

– are operated on 12-volt AC to 12-volt DC conversion

– are operated on a direct connection to mains voltage source without 12-volt DC constant voltage transformer

– are operated on a constant-current LED driver of any voltage

– are operated on a dimming protocol other than: 0-10V, 10V PWM, DALI, 12V-side resistance dimming

– are operated on mains-side dimming 

– are operated on any DC constant-voltage power source other than 12-volt DC constant voltage

– are wired in series (serial), or wired in any manner other than parallel

– are operated on a power grid that is subject to brown-outs that have tendency to damage any electric or electronic items

– have their housing breached, opened, or disfigured in any way

– are operated in IP 68 conditions (submersible, pools, fountains). LP products are to be operated in conditions up to and including IP 67 conditions. 

MINIMIS may make recommendations on specific brands and/or models of power supply/transformer, and/or associated electrical components and/or the installation methods of the items therein. MINIMIS is not compensated in any form, for such recommendations, but rather provides the recommendations out of courtesy to our clients. Such recommendations shall not be construed as warranties, and MINIMIS makes no warranties or guarantees as to the performance and/or longevity and/or correct installation methods of such products. It is the client’s responsibility or client’s assigns’ responsibility to consult official agents of said products for correct configuration and installation methods. It is the client’s responsibility or client’s assigns’ responsibility to consult an electrician or appropriate professional on local codes and ordinances. Unless otherwise stated, MINIMIS products are not UL listed. It is the client’s responsibility or the client’s assigns’ responsibility to determine their project’s UL requirements, if any.

All sales are final. MINIMIS reserves the right to accept or refuse, on a per-case basis, return+refund requests for MINIMIS products.

QUOTATIONS, PRICING, AND VALIDITY

Quotations are denominated un US dollars, unless otherwise indicated. MINIMIS reserves the right to denominate pricing in any currency of its choosing.  Quotations are valid up to thirty (30) days from issue, barring a material and sudden collapse in value of the denominated currency of the applicable quotations and/or pricing. In the event that there is a material and sudden collapse in value of the denominated currency between the time that the client has paid, and MINIMIS delivers product, MINIMIS reserves the right – and is only liable – to refund the full amount including shipping charges, denominated in the currency originally employed for purchase.

INDEMNIFICATION

BY PURCHASING MINIMIS PRODUCTS, AND BY OPERATING MINIMIS PRODUCTS WITHIN MINIMIS’ STATED PARAMETERS, AND BY OPERATING THIRD-PARTY POWER SOURCES / TRANSFORMERS WITHIN THE RESPECTIVE MANUFACTURERS’ PARAMETERS, YOU HEREBY INDEMNIFY AND HOLD MINIMIS FREE FROM LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES OR INJURIES RESULTING FROM OPERATING MINIMIS PRODUCTS OUTSIDE OF MINIMIS’ STATED PARAMETERS AND/OR OPERATING THIRD-PARTY POWER SOURCES / TRANSFORMERS OUTSIDE THE RESPECTIVE MANUFACTURERS’ PARAMETERS.
